To Stephen Johnson. I am reading your book which I like very much. But there is an egregious error. You speak of Nobel frequenting intellectuals such as Victor Hugo in Paris. And that Hugo had a character based on Nobel in his novel "Le Ventre de Paris". Le Ventre de Paris was written by Emile Zola.
