I work on science data systems and we've recently been having discussions about how we can make science more open and inclusive. We feel that one way to do that is to build empowering infrastructures that reduce the friction surrounding access to data and compute. The discussion of DAOs sounds like an 'empowering infrastructure' that led me to wonder - are there any DAOs that are built around a scientific community?
